I don't have time for much of a post today - I'm frantically packing so we can leave this afternoon for Chicago, and then we'll go on to South Bend on Sunday. But I wanted to share this oh-so-cute video with all you cyberspace friends!

Snow Storms & an ER Visit
Well, another week has gone by and I haven't posted at all. I have no excuse, considering we have been stuck at home for most of the week. Winter has shown all of us longing for spring that we will have a little while longer to wait...much to our disappointment.
Our week started with snowstorm #1 on Super Bowl Sunday. We were looking forward to going to my sister Kristen's house, along with the rest of the Litwiller clan. Unfortunately the weather was too bad for that. So we had a bit of a boring Super Bowl party by ourselves at home. Monday morning brought ice and snow (storm #2), so school was cancelled for the day. Monday night Jesse took a tumble a bit too close to a footrest (with wood around the edges), and cut his face right beside his eye. It was hard to tell how deep it was, and when I called his doctor's office, she said he should go in to the ER to have it looked at. So my parents came over to our house to stay with Meredith while Kent and I took Jesse to the hospital for his first (and hopefully only) ER visit. Jesse was a trooper throughout the whole thing - he didn't cry too much and was pretty happy while waiting in the ER. Thankfully he didn't need stitches and they just "glued" the gash closed. Hopefully he won't have much of a scar.
Tuesday afternoon brought yet another snowstorm (storm #3), and that one didn't end until Wednesday afternoon. So Meredith didn't have school on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons either. On Wednesday morning Kent backed our van out of the garage, and as soon as the wheels hit the gravel of our driveway, he got stuck. So he drove the van back in the garage and decided that he could just work from home for the day. We were thrilled to have him home with us, but by the end of the day, he said he was going crazy from staying inside the whole day! Thursday is Meredith's day to go to the babysitters, so by Friday she was more than ready to go to school.
I haven't looked at the weather lately to see if this week will be any different than last, but a girl can always dream that spring is right around the corner!
