no life = no posting

As you can tell, it's been a while since I last posted.

We've been in a late winter rut lately.

Not much to post about.

Our evenings have mostly been spent at home.

Playing Monopoly - the family championship version (it goes faster than the regular version). It has taken some adjusting so that Meredith is OK if she doesn't win. We play it enough, though, that she has learned that if she doesn't win this time, there will always be another time.

We've been reading a lot. We just finished the Little House on the Prairie book with Meredith and started On the Banks of Plum Creek. But then we realized that we didn't read Farmer Boy, which is #2 in the Little House series, so we went back and have started that book.

We also discovered the Magic Tree House series and Meredith is loving that series.

Jesse and I have gone to the library a lot lately. I take my computer and work on it and he plays with the toys.

Basically, we have no life and are just biding our time until we can be outside more!

Yes, it sounds like you are living life. Enjoy it before it speeds up, gets crazy busy, and you're an empty nester!!

Since my wife asks me why I don't comment at all on her blog, thought it would be a nice change of pace if I did. Great Blog T!
Oh, and by the way, there was a subtle omission about who is the current trophy holder of our monopoly game...me (but we are not a competitive family <:).

Yes, Kent, you are correct that you won the last game. BUT...whose name is currently on the trophy? I believe my name is STILL on it. Which makes sense that you don't want to go to the trouble of taking my name off since it will be there again shortly.

(Forget talking on the phone or in person. Talking trash on a blog is much more fun!) :)

Gretta and Grandma are spending the day together. Gretta loves the Little House on the Prairie books too. Gretta just got the 3rd Harry Potter book from Aunt Beth, Yeah!!!! Grandma is finished reading all her Alaska books so she is going to get some books on the Kindle for her upcoming trip. We like your blog. G and G PS, Gretta wants to see your competitive monopoly talents!
